These include TransPennine Express, Northern, and CrossCountry, offering alternative routes between Manchester, Leeds and York/Newcastle, Carlisle and Newcastle, and Sheffield/Doncaster, York and Newcastle/Edinburgh, respectively. Additionally, customers who choose to postpone their travel today, Sunday 15 February, can use their tickets without extra cost on Monday 16 February.
